Five women getting facials, with one woman having her face cleaned, another with a sheet mask, one receiving facial steam, another with eye masks, and a woman with her hair in a bun during facial treatment.

What happens during a facial?

Each facial begins with a skin consultation, followed by double cleansing, exfoliation, extractions (if needed), a customized mask, serum, moisturizer, and SPF. Every step is tailored to your skin type and concerns.

Do facials hurt?

Most treatments are relaxing and gentle.

Extractions can feel slightly uncomfortable, but we always work within your comfort level.

How often should I book a facial?

For best results, schedule a facial every 4–6 weeks.

Consistency helps maintain clear, healthy, glowing skin.

Can I wear makeup after my appointment?

It’s recommended to avoid makeup for 24 hours after your facial to allow your skin to fully absorb nutrients.

If you really need to wear makeup, choose a mineral-based foundation, as it’s gentler on the skin and less likely to clog pores.

Can I get a facial if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes — but certain ingredients and treatments may be avoided.

Please tell us before your appointment so we can customize your treatment safely.

What skincare products do you use?

We use high-quality, professional-grade skincare carefully chosen for safety, effectiveness, and results.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Appointments are required.

Please book through our online booking system.

Frequently Asked Questions

24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment:

Avoid exfoliating products

Stop using scrubs, AHA/BHA acids, enzyme exfoliants, or harsh cleansers.

Discontinue retinoids and vitamin A products

This includes retinol, tretinoin (Retin-A), adapalene (Differin), and retinaldehyde.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure

Do not tan or intentionally expose your skin. Sunburned skin cannot be treated.

Avoid waxing, threading, or depilatory creams

These make the skin more sensitive and increase risk of irritation.

Pause active skincare products

Avoid the following before treatment:

  • Benzoyl peroxide

  • Salicylic acid

  • Glycolic/lactic acids

  • Resurfacing toners

  • High-strength vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid)

Avoid any at-home chemical peels or micro-needling tools

Skin should not be compromised before treatment. Wait at least 2 weeks before booking a facial.

Hydrate well

Drink water to support skin health.

Day of Your Appointment:

Arrive with clean skin

Try to avoid makeup or heavy skincare products after your facial if possible.

All of our treatments begin with a thorough double cleanse, so your skin will be properly prepped — no need to worry too much.

Avoid caffeine immediately before your appointment

Caffeine can overstimulate the nervous system, making extractions more sensitive.

Let your esthetician know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication

Some products and treatments will be adjusted for safety.

Tell your esthetician about recent cosmetic treatments

Such as:

  • Botox

  • Fillers

  • Chemical peels

  • Laser

  • Microblading

  • Microneedling

These can affect treatment timing.

Bring a list of your current skincare products

This helps tailor your treatment and routine suggestions.

Shave facial hair (optional, men only) at least 24 hours before

Not the same day to avoid irritation.

  • Recent cosmetic treatments (Botox/filler within 48 hours, chemical peels within 2 weeks)
